Still recovering from our action-packed contest weekend in Hyannis! Ryan made his official Greenlight tenor debut on stage with us and we couldn't be more proud of what we were able to accomplish together in such a short span of time. Kudos to Ryan for working his butt off and making this such a seamless transition into a new era for the quartet. While we may have juuuust missed the cutoff for International qualification (0.1% away!), we'll be back at it again in two weeks, singing at the NED Western Regional convention in Lake George, NY. Ryan brings a wealth of experience and a seasoned barbershop voice to our quartet, having previously sung with groups in the Northeastern District, including Vocal Revolution, Tomato Staccato, and Quadratic. After an extensive search process and auditions filled with impressive talent, we found the ideal musical and social match in Ryan. His passion for music, impressive arranging skills, and infectious enthusiasm is just what Greenlight was looking for to springboard us into this new phase of chord-ringing and storytelling. After over 7 incredible years of harmony and friendship, we want to share some bittersweet news with our Greenlight family. Our amazing tenor singer, Louis Ades, has decided to step away from the quartet to pursue his musical adventures in the vibrant barbershop scene of New York City. We can't thank Louis enough for his dedication, incredible talent, and the countless unforgettable moments we've shared together on stage and off. His passion for barbershop music has been an inspiration to all of us, and his contribution to the Greenlight Experience is immeasurable. Though we'll miss his incredible voice, valuable perspective, and deep knowledge of all things SpongeBob, we wholeheartedly support his decision to explore new opportunities and chase his dreams in the Big City. We know he'll shine wherever his musical journey takes him. To our dear friend and tenor extraordinaire, thank you for the laughter, the music, and the memories that will always hold a special place in our hearts. Your legacy in Greenlight will live on, and we're excited to see the amazing things you'll accomplish in NYC. We love you, buddy! NED Fall Convention weekend is almost here! We are so excited to share our music with our District family; this year in more ways than usual. Catch us on Friday night as "mic coolers" (followed by Daily Special) at the end of the quartet semifinals session around 9:30pm. If you miss us then, have no fear - we'll be singing on the NEDAC Show of Champions on Saturday evening, kicking off the show at 7:30pm. It will be a unique and special collection of songs we put on stage, as all of them are arranged by local NED talent -- Cay Outerbridge, Steve Tramack, Kirk Young, and Bob Martin. And if by Saturday late night you still haven't had your Greenlight fix, you can find us at the District Afterglow to "Sing With The Champs" (alongside Daily Special, Sweet & Sour, The Square Route, and Scollay Square).

Hard to believe this year's BHS International Contest in Louisville has already come to a close! It was an incredible experience to be back on the Big Stage, debuting two new charts to an international audience. We are so thankful for all the support and kind words we've received over the past few weeks, and we're proud of our NED friends who also crossed the stage -- @dailyspecialquartet , @summerstreetquartet and Sweet & Sour (who made it to the Semifinals)!
